3D Printed UAV

A Fusion 360 glider prototype exploring the possibilities—and constraints—of 3D printed aircraft, from structural design to electrical integration.

Explore the project

The build

  • Designed a functioning 3D printed glider prototype in Fusion 360.
  • Wired and integrated batteries, servos, electronic speed controllers, and electric motors.
  • Researched electrical components and reinforcement techniques suited to 3D printed structures.
  • Built a thrust stand to evaluate the propeller and motor combination.

What I learned

The first design was unstable in sustained flight. That experience made stability, testing, and learning from failure central to the project.

5-FOOT AMATEUR ROCKETCONCEPT ILLUSTRATION

OpenRocket · Flight simulation · Stability

Level 1 Rocket Project

A five-foot amateur rocket built, launched, and recovered successfully, with flight simulation and center-of-gravity adjustments guiding the design.

Explore the project

The build

  • Organized two fellow aerospace engineering majors to pursue individual NAR Level 1 certifications.
  • Constructed a five-foot rocket and successfully launched and recovered it.
  • Researched motor selection for the intended flight profile.
  • Simulated and analyzed flight characteristics in OpenRocket.

Design decision

Added mass to the nose cone to shift the center of gravity and improve stability, connecting simulation to a practical design adjustment.

02 / About me

An engineer
in the making.

I’m studying Aerospace Engineering at Georgia Tech, with a minor in Materials Science and a hands-on interest in how things fly.

My projects take me from CAD models and flight simulations to 3D printed parts, electronics, and physical testing. I’m also a member of the GTXR Propulsion Team, continuing to explore propulsion alongside my coursework.

I bring curiosity, a practical approach to problem-solving, and the willingness to work through a design that doesn’t get it right the first time.
